On 11 October at 5.30 PM, Carlo Lucarelli will take to the stage at Binario 3 at OGR Torino with Fairy Tales That Frighten Children, a journey into the darker side of fairy tales and the deepest fears of the human psyche.

Fairy tales are filled with enchanted castles inhabited by beautiful princesses, winged horses, blue fairies and pumpkins that turn into carriages. But they are also home to an evil witch who locks two children in a cage, a werewolf who swallows a sweet old grandmother in a single bite, and a little match girl who dies of hunger and cold.

Fairy tales can conjure up wonderful worlds, but also terrifying, unsettling and mysterious ones. As in one of his gripping investigations, Carlo Lucarelli, one of Italy's leading noir writers, takes us on a journey into the dark heart of fairy tales, turning it into an exploration of the human psyche and of our deepest fears, fears we must understand and overcome if we are to live happily ever after.

USEFUL INFORMATION

• Reservations can be made for one person only. Once the form has been completed, the “Almost there!” screen will appear. An email will then be sent to the address provided, allowing you to confirm your reservation.


• Your reservation will be valid only once it has been confirmed.


• Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive the QR code required for entry. Until confirmation is completed via the relevant email, the seat will remain available and can still be booked.


• If the reservation is not confirmed in time, the seat will be reassigned and you may be placed on the waiting list. We therefore recommend completing the entire process as soon as possible to avoid losing your seat.


• Admission to the venue with a reservation will be possible from 5 PM and is guaranteed until 6.30 PM. After this time, the seat may be reassigned.


• Anyone on the waiting list may queue in a dedicated line. Holders of this type of ticket will be admitted only if, once all guests with confirmed reservations have entered, there are still seats available. Admission will be granted on a first come, first served basis.
