On Monday, 26 May at 6.30 PM, a new OGR Talks event arrives at Binario 3 of OGR Torino. Antonio Di Bella, a long-standing voice of RAI’s U.S. news coverage, joins Lorenzo Pregliasco, political communication and public opinion expert, for a conversation on the ongoing transformation of American politics under Donald Trump’s presidency and its global consequences.
The U.S. has reignited trade tensions with Europe, taken a harder line on the war in Ukraine, and begun questioning long-standing international alliances and institutions. In the background, the election of the first American Pope adds a new layer to an already fast-shifting global landscape.
What does this new America reveal? What scenarios does it open up for Europe, for the world, and for the future of the United States? These are the questions Di Bella and Pregliasco will explore in a deep dive into the new domestic and international challenges shaping the current U.S. political landscape.
