Free admission. Reservations available.

The keynote speaker for the 2025 Lectio Magistralis of the CSP-IAS – Institute for Advanced Study will be Bill Dally, Chief Scientist and Senior Vice President of Research at NVIDIA, one of the world’s leading authorities on computer architectures and hardware innovation.

His lecture, “Evolution of AI Hardware – How Deep-Learning Hardware is Improving the Human Experience”, will explore how advances in hardware are enabling breakthroughs in deep learning, large-scale scientific computing, and emerging forms of embodied AI, with an emphasis on hardware–software co-design and key enabling technologies such as numerical representations, sparsity, high-bandwidth interconnects, and new memory hierarchies.

The event at Binario 3 will also feature contributions from Fabio Pammolli (President of AI4I), Anna Maria Poggi (President of the Fondazione CRT), Marco Gilli (President of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation), Stefano Paolo Corgnati (Rector of the Politecnico di Torino), and Marco Pavone (Chair of the AI4I Scientific Committee).
