On October 3, the iconic OGR Duomo will host Donato Tramuto, known worldwide for his commitment to social change and the advancement of leadership practices.

The author will present his book, Compassionate Leadership, published by Rizzoli Libri, engaging in a compelling dialogue with Massimo Lapucci, CEO of OGR Torino.

This insightful essay, grounded in extensive research involving thousands of managers and workers, elucidates how we can shape the future and enhance society through leadership imbued with compassion and empathy.  The goal is to establish a management style that aligns with contemporary sensibilities and values, especially in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Donato Tramuto
Author of "Life's Bulldozer Moments: How Adversity Leads to Success in Life and Business", Donato Tramuto is an activist and former CEO of Tivity Health®, Inc.
He is a recipient of the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope award and is celebrated worldwide for his commitment to effecting social change and improving leadership practices.
Tramuto is the founder and chairman of the Tramuto Porter Foundation and Health eVillages, which focuses on promoting the right to education and health care and advocating for human rights.

Additionally, he serves as vice president and board member of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia, supporting specific projects combating bullying and fostering social and labor inclusion for vulnerable individuals since 2018.

Massimo Lapucci
Massimo Lapucci is CEO of OGR Torino, a grand 19th-century former industrial facility at the heart of Turin, now converted into a major international hub dedicated to innovation, technology and business acceleration (with 15 acceleration programs active with global partners including Microsoft, Google, Endeavor, Techstars, Plug&Play, and Intesa Sanpaolo Group) as well as a center for cultural production.
Formerly the Chairman of EFC-European Foundation Centre in Brussels, currently known as Philea, the institutional philanthropy network that brings together over 300 organizations from around 40 countries, he was Secretary General of the banking foundation Fondazione CRT from 2012 to 2023.
Lapucci has accrued extensive international experience serving as a board member of public utility entities and private companies in a variety of sectors and in non-profit organizations in Europe and America, including Rockefeller P.A. Europe, London School of Economics-Marshall Institute, and ISI Foundation for Big Data.
Chairman of Edulia, part of the Treccani group and the most important edtech hub in Italy, he co-edited the book “Data Science for Social Good. Philanthropy and Social Impact in a Complex World”, published by Springer. He has been a World Fellow at Yale University (USA) since 2006.
