Digital Identity, Future, Security and Green Pass

Blockchain Buzz kicks off with a series of free events open to the public at OGR Torino in partnership with the Associazione Italia4Blockchain and in collaboration with Intesa (IBM Group). Digital identity and privacy will be the focus of the first meeting.

How can data security be guaranteed in relation to a technology that defines itself as decentralized, open, and "public"? How do these discussions intersect with issues of great topical interest such as the vaccine passport?

These questions will be answered by Giuseppe Mariani, General Manager of Intesa (IBM Group) with a talk on digital identity and privacy, followed by Pietro Azzara, President of Italia4Blockchain, who will speak specifically about Green Pass and vaccine pass, presenting the company’s Blockchainitalia.io proposed solution, My Health Passport.

Domenico Rotondi, Senior Business Analyst Fincons Group, will follow by presenting the SEIP project (Service for Encrypted Information Provider) which aims at countering the development of isolated blockchain-based solutions by avoiding the fragmentation of platforms and technological tools that, in fact, would end up inhibiting the use of blockchain technology itself.

Moderated by Matteo Pessione, OGR Tech Coordinator, and Emanuela Negro Ferrero, Piedmont Delegate of the Italia4Blockchain Association, and curator of the series of events.

Pietro Azzara - President of Italia4Blockchain

Graduated in Electronic Engineering, professor, entrepreneur, with several years of experience in national and international projects in information technology, digital marketing, and communication. He founded Azatec, System Integrator and Cloud Managed Service Provider, where he is now CEO and Chairman of the CDA. In the blockchain world since 2017, he founded BLOCKCHAINITALIA.IO and the BLOCKCHAIN FORUM ITALIA exhibition. Since 2019 he is President of Italia4Blockchain and is included in the "Top 100 FinTech Leaders and influencers in Italy", in 2020 among the TOP Blockchain Influencers of Startup Italia. He is member of the working group on education of the INATBA association (International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications) and founding member of the Italian Digital SME Alliance.

Domenico Rotondi - Senior Business Analyst Fincons Group

Graduated in Physics and specialized in computer networks, distributed systems, and telematics services. Since 1985 he has been working on R&D projects in various companies and in 2014, he landed in Fincons Group where he is responsible for European and national R&D projects, becoming an expert in innovative technologies for data management, blockchain technologies, and CP-ABE cryptographic techniques. He is member of several Technical Program Committees of international conferences and author of more than 50 scientific and technical papers published in international journals or conference proceedings.
