IOSONOUNCANE – NEW DATE
IOSONOUNCANE @OGRTORINO
New date: 22nd April 2022, 9 pm
SOLD-OUT event
Following the provisions taken by the Italian Government, the concert, initially scheduled for April 4, 2020, will be held on April 22, 2022.
The tour for the presentation of IRA, the new album by IOSONOUNCANE, is postponed to spring 2022. The artist would have liked to play this album in preview, with the musicians who played it, before its release. Due to the health emergency, this was not possible. However, the tour will be the only opportunity to enjoy the entire performance of the album that promises to be powerful: as already announced, IRA is a colossus of 17 songs, 1 hour and 50 minutes of music.
Ticket information
The tickets purchased will remain valid and can be used as an entrance ticket for the new date.
Concert information
A seven-date tour, from Foligno to Roma, passing through Torino, in which the artist will propose the new album thanks to seven preview concerts, unique opportunities to listen to the new work by the author of Stormi, golden disc song in 2019 for digital download.
IRA will be presented to the public thanks to seven previews in seven Italian cities - in Torino on April 22nd 2022 - before the sound material can be available in any format, physical or digital. An invitation, therefore, to immerse yourself in the flow of the album, unhinging the ways of fruition consolidated by discography in our post-record era.
It is a work entirely written in every single part by IOSONOUNCANE, but it could not exist without the musicians who played it within two years of sessions, rehearsals, experiments and recordings. This is why it was decided to bring this work to life through an integral execution: the aim is to present the work in its primitive form. On stage, IOSONOUNCANE together with the Mandria musicians who have already worked on the DIE tour: Amedeo Perri, Francesco Bolognini, Serena Locci and Simone Cavina, with Simona Norato and Mariagiulia Degli Amori. As always, Bruno Germano is directing the sound.
The date, proposed by OGR Torino in collaboration with ToDays Festival and Panico Concerti, confirms the former train workshops as a contemporary pole, dedicated to musical experimentation.
