The Duomo at OGR Torino becomes a space of silence and awareness for a collective meditation session. On Sunday, May 18 at 9:00 AM, Ubiliber, in collaboration with OGR Torino and Salone OFF, invites you to a special event inspired by the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh — one of the most influential figures in contemporary Buddhism.

Leading the session is Adriana Rocco, Dharma teacher and longtime interpreter of the Master, who will guide participants through one hour of mindful practice, based on The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching, recently reissued by Ubiliber in a revised and expanded edition.

In a world often dominated by noise and distraction, this gathering is a rare opportunity to find clarity, inner calm, and genuine connection through accessible, meaningful practices. Open to seasoned meditators, curious beginners, and anyone seeking a moment of peace.

A true pause in the heart of the city — to take care of our minds and reconnect with our shared humanity.

ADRIANA ROCCO

In the 1970s, Adriana Rocco, a trained sociologist, was searching for a different kind of society—one where change would begin from the outside. Motherhood marked a profound turning point for her, awakening a desire to love and understand the world rather than criticize it. In 1978, she moved to India with her daughter, where she discovered yoga as passed down in the oral tradition from master to disciple, rooted in the teachings of Patanjali. In 1992, she met Thich Nhat Hanh — Vietnamese Zen monk, poet, and master of reconciliation. It was in that moment that she felt a deep connection to his teachings, which blend spirituality with everyday engagement. Since then, Adriana has devoted her life to sharing the art of understanding and renewal, inspired by the timeless teachings of Buddhism — a heritage of all humanity.
