On 26 October, Mind Machines | AI Dialogues returns to OGR Torino with AI Skills and Social Impact, a talk exploring the relationship between skills, artificial intelligence and social impact, with a focus on Data 4 Good.
Federica Rossi, Microsoft Elevate Capacity Building Solutions - Italia, will discuss Microsoft’s commitment to giving people and organisations the skills and opportunities to use artificial intelligence. The talk will explore three areas: education, the nonprofit sector and the job market. Special attention will be paid to young people entering the job market, those at risk of being left out and anyone navigating a rapidly changing employment landscape.
The talk will also draw on practical experiences: we’ll see in particular Good Loop, the AI Academy for the nonprofit sector developed with Factory Plus, Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Triulza and co-funded by Fondo per la Repubblica Digitale, which has attracted 3,200+ nonprofit organisations across Italy.
The starting point is that AI is truly inclusive only when everyone can acquire the skills to use it. This perspective places training and education at the heart of the conversation about the social impact of innovation.
Mind Machines | AI Dialogues is a series of talks developed through a collaboration between the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I), OGR Torino and Fondazione CRT.
