The next event in the Mind Machines – AI Dialogues series, taking place on Monday, June 30 at the Mezzanino of OGR Torino, will focus on the ongoing revolutions in artificial intelligence as applied to autonomous systems.
Titled Next-Gen Autonomy: Foundation Models Shaping Autonomous Vehicles and Physical AI, the seminar will feature two leading figures on the international stage: Marco Pavone (Associate Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University and Senior Director of Autonomous Vehicle Research at NVIDIA) and Riccardo Mariani (Vice President of Safety at NVIDIA).
The discussion will delve into the transformative impact of generative AI foundation models on the architecture of autonomous vehicles and Physical AI systems. A special emphasis will be placed on the safety strategies required to ensure the reliable and responsible deployment of these emerging technologies, offering a high-level technical dialogue between academic research and industry practice.
