The next Tech & Tonic for game dev event, on Wednesday, December 10 at the Speakers' Corner of OGR Torino, will be dedicated to low-budget game development, exploring how to design and build a game starting from minimal resources, clear priorities and rapid iterations.

Featuring Nicola Dau and Luca Folino, co-founders of Studio Ortica, an independent team experimenting with new development models grounded in essential creativity, fast prototyping and the strategic use of minimal assets.

Drawing from the case study of Loan Shark, a video game developed with a total budget of 10 euro and three months of work, they will share a practical guide to “intentional reduction”, outlining principles, tactics and low-cost tools to set priorities, cut the superfluous and turn scarcity into a creative lever that improves rather than limits small-scale projects.
