OGR Club's journey among the best national and international music continues: this time the OGR Torino format will see Andrea Appino perform, a singer-songwriter who in his long career has played on hundreds of stages throughout the peninsula, and beyond, becoming a reference for the Italian rock scene, as a solo artist and thanks to his long collaboration with Zen Circus, whose pen, voice and guitar he has been since 1995.

As usual, OGR Club will offer its audience a unique performance: former industrial hall and artists performing without a stage, at the same level as the audience, without distance, face to face. A formula put in place in 2022 and that has made the OGR Club project a show itself, unique. As unique is every Appino live show.

The date at OGR Turin is part of the 2024 APPINO (sei) SOLO - Una terapia collettiva. The artist returns with one last indoor tour to bring the songs from his three albums to stages throughout Italy and indefinitely close the solo experience. A year ago, his last work Humanize was released, a project that combines introspection and sonic experimentation. The album explores the concept of “humanity” through a musical and narrative journey that blends rock, electronica and songwriting.

The set that Appino will present for OGR Club will be acoustic and minimal, with great emotional impact. The new set list includes songs from all three solo albums, with revamped arrangements.

Declares the artist, “As tradition, I will close this third interlude under my own name with an exercise in solitude. The last lap of the carousel, then these songs will go back to rest in peace. For another ten years or forever? Who knows.”
