OGR Comedy Sessions welcome Antonio Piazza with "Analisi Due", his second show.

For anyone who has left an office job to pursue their dreams, a second analysis is also a second test: the one that comes when you thought you had already figured everything out, only to discover that there is still something worth looking at more closely.

In "Analisi Due", Antonio Piazza recounts, with irony and sharp insight, his escape from Sicily to northern Italy: a family that wanted him to become an engineer, an unhappy university experience, racism, expectations and the ambiguous pleasure of feeling like an outsider wherever he goes.

Born in Palermo in 1983 and a graduate in computer engineering, Piazza moved to Turin to work as an engineer before leaving everything behind to take to the stage. Since 2019, he has toured Italy performing stand-up comedy, and since 2023 it has been his full-time profession. He was part of the cast of Comedy Central Live 2023, released his first special, "La vivo male", on YouTube, is the founder of Torino Comedy Lounge and is a member of the Comici In Piedi collective.

TORINO COMEDY LOUNGE
Founded in 2017, the project helped revive Italian stand-up comedy in Piedmont, bringing live comedy back to a scene that had been overshadowed for too many years by a predominantly television-based approach to comedy. Today, it is one of Italy’s leading comedy series, with hundreds of live shows, theatre productions and video projects to its name. Three principles are fundamental: quality, the wellbeing of comedians and putting the audience at the centre. As well as hosting major names such as Luca Ravenna and Michela Giraud, Torino Comedy Lounge is a breeding ground for new talent, supporting the next generation of comedians.
