OGR Comedy Sessions welcome Pippo Ricciardi to the OGR Torino stage, a comedian, writer and improviser who has been active on the scene since 2012.

Since 2016, he has focused on stand-up comedy, taking his shows across Italy and performing in clubs, cultural venues, theatres and a wide range of formats. He has written three stand-up shows, with more than one hundred performances in total, and over the years has developed a personal, physical and unpredictable style of comedy that moves between storytelling, absurdity and unexpected detours.

Drawing on theatre training, improvisation and comedy writing, Ricciardi turns the stage into a space of freedom, where the rhythm of the punchline meets the instinct of live performance and every night can take an unexpected turn.

TORINO COMEDY LOUNGE
Founded in 2017, the project helped revive Italian stand-up comedy in Piedmont, bringing live comedy back to a scene that had been overshadowed for too many years by a predominantly television-based approach to comedy. Today, it is one of Italy’s leading comedy series, with hundreds of live shows, theatre productions and video projects to its name. Three principles are fundamental: quality, the wellbeing of comedians and putting the audience at the centre. As well as hosting major names such as Luca Ravenna and Michela Giraud, Torino Comedy Lounge is a breeding ground for new talent, supporting the next generation of comedians.
