On April 28, the Snodo stage will host one of the most visionary projects in today’s jazz scene: Boe/Buoys led by Ettore Fioravanti, featuring Markus Stockhausen. Joined by Furio Di Castri, Achille Succi, and Danilo Tarso, the ensemble delivers a concert that blends expressive freedom, formal precision, and profound sonic sensitivity.

The concept behind Boe/Buoys’ music is as evocative as it is original: each piece becomes a sonic journey, moving from one musical "buoy" to another—starting from an initial motif and gradually developing towards a new musical destination. It’s a concert shaped by the balance between improvisation and composition, structure and liberty.

OGR Jazz Night is the series curated by OGR Torino in collaboration with Indiependence and under the artistic direction of Sergio Di Gennaro. A regular appointment exploring the most exciting horizons of contemporary jazz—featuring international stars, emerging voices, and experimental sounds. Snodo, the food & drink heart of OGR, transforms into a vibrant stage where jazz meets culinary creativity for a multi-sensory night out.

ETTORE FIORAVANTI & BOE/BUOYS
A key figure in the Italian jazz scene, Fioravanti is known for his inventive approach and boundless curiosity. With Boe/Buoys, he explores the idea of the "buoy" as a musical marker—both a starting and an ending point—guiding the journey of sound.

MARKUS STOCKHAUSEN
The son of legendary composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, Markus is a uniquely sensitive artist, moving effortlessly across jazz, contemporary classical, and free improvisation.
