OGR Torino hosts a new evening dedicated to live jazz and improvisation, featuring the quartet led by guitarist Giangiacomo Rosso and double bassist Julia Hornung. Fresh from an extensive European tour, the group presents a repertoire deeply rooted in gypsy jazz and the Manouche tradition, expanding its language through a dynamic, contemporary approach that remains profoundly open to musical dialogue among the performers.

Joined by Sergio Di Gennaro on piano and Francesco Parodi on drums, the quartet creates a set rich in energy, interplay, and expressive freedom, alternating moments of refined elegance with more driving passages and compelling rhythmic momentum.

Following the concert, the stage opens up for the open jam: an invitation to the musicians in attendance to actively take part in the evening, contributing to a collective session where improvisation, mutual listening, and spontaneity take center stage.

OGR Jazz Night is the series created by OGR Torino in collaboration with Indiependence and under the artistic direction of Sergio Di Gennaro, showcasing the best of contemporary jazz through live concerts and jam sessions. Snodo, the food & drink hub of OGR, becomes a cosmopolitan stage where jazz meets fine dining, creating an unforgettable sensory experience.
