OGR Torino hosts a new evening of live jazz celebrating the timeless allure of the great American crooners with Hollywood Party, the project conceived and led by Luigi “T-Bone” De Gaspari. Joined by Sergio Di Gennaro on piano, Marco Piccirillo on double bass and Francesco Brancato on drums, with special guest Nico Gori, the ensemble brings to the Snodo stage a repertoire inspired by the Great American Songbook, reinterpreted with freedom, personality and a genuine jazz spirit.

The repertoire explores some of the songs made immortal by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Tony Bennett, creating a set where swing, improvisation and interplay come together in a personal and engaging take on a musical legacy that has become part of our collective imagination.

At the heart of the performance is Luigi “T-Bone” De Gaspari, trombonist, singer and performer whose career spans a wide range of musical languages, from ska and reggae with Africa Unite and Giuliano Palma & The Bluebeaters to international collaborations with the New York Ska-Jazz Orchestra, as well as his experience as a crooner and entertainer aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. The evening is also shaped by artistic relationships built over time: his longstanding partnership with Sergio Di Gennaro, his collaboration with Nico Gori, recently strengthened on the stages of Umbria Jazz, and the decade-long musical partnership between Di Gennaro and Marco Piccirillo, who have performed together in hundreds of concerts across Europe.

OGR Jazz Night is the series created by OGR Torino in collaboration with Indiependence, under the artistic direction of Sergio Di Gennaro, showcasing the best of contemporary jazz through live concerts and jam sessions. Snodo, OGR’s food & drink destination, becomes a cosmopolitan stage where jazz meets fine dining, creating an unforgettable sensory experience.
