On September 22 at 9.30 PM, the Ronald Baker & Tony Match Trio takes the stage at Snodo for an evening of world-class international jazz. Baker, one of the most sophisticated singers and trumpeters of his generation, brings a refined and expressive style; alongside him, French drummer and producer Tony Match leads the trio with groove and contemporary flair, delivering a captivating live performance blending standards, original arrangements, and classy improvisations. Joining them are pianist Sergio Di Gennaro and double bassist Aldo Maiorino, completing a quartet that promises an engaging night of jazz artistry.


OGR Jazz Night is a series created by OGR Torino in collaboration with Indiependence and the artistic direction of Sergio Di Gennaro, presenting the best of contemporary jazz through live concerts and jam sessions. Snodo, the food & drink heart of OGR, transforms into a cosmopolitan stage where jazz meets fine dining, offering an unforgettable sensory experience.

RONALD BAKER
American singer and trumpeter Ronald Baker is recognized as one of the most refined voices and instrumentalists in contemporary jazz. With a style that blends swing, lyricism, and remarkable communicative power, he has performed worldwide and collaborated with legends such as Lou Donaldson, Curtis Fuller, and Jesse Davis. His music combines elegance and immediacy, captivating audiences across the globe.

TONY MATCH
French drummer and producer Tony Match is an eclectic musician who moves seamlessly between jazz, funk, and contemporary sounds. Throughout his career, he has played with Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Ernie Watts, Scott Hamilton, and many more, distinguishing himself for his groove, versatility, and innovation. Beyond live performance, he has produced more than two hundred recordings for labels including Universal and Deutsche Grammophon.

SERGIO DI GENNARO
Pianist Sergio Di Gennaro has performed and collaborated with Dusko Goykovich, Scott Hamilton, Jerry Weldon, Enrico Rava, Jim Rotondi, Barry Finnerty, Wayne Escoffery, Ronald Baker, Raynald Colom, Peter Giron, Denise King, Lauren Henderson, Roberta Gambarini, Nicole Zuraitis (2-time Grammy winner), Flavio Boltro, appearing at leading jazz clubs across Europe.

ALDO MAIORINO
Double bassist and electric bassist Aldo Maiorino has performed in clubs, theaters, and major festivals across Europe, Africa, and Latin America with Flavio Boltro, Fabrizio Bosso, Paul Jeffrey, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Jesse Davis, Steve Grossman, Antonio Faraò, Manu Chao, Pietro Tonolo, Dado Moroni, Roberto Gatto, Peter King, Larry Schneider, Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, Gregory Hutchinson, Arto Tunçboyaciyan, Scott Hamilton, and many others.
