Sergio Di Gennaro is the featured artist of the new appointment with OGR Jazz Night. On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 9.30 PM, at Snodo, “Blind Spots - Still Looking” will be presented live, the new project by the trio led by the pianist and composer, in a special lineup featuring Ares Tavolazzi on double bass, and Enzo Zirilli on drums, with saxophone player Emanuele Cisi as a special guest.

Released by GleAM Records, “Blind Spots - Still Looking” is a work that explores the invisible zones of human experience through contemporary soundscapes: what remains at the edges of perception, intuitions, silences, and emotional nuances that reveal themselves only through deep listening. The trio works within a subtle balance between composition and improvisational freedom, alternating Mediterranean lyricism, suspended dynamics, essential grooves, and modern harmonic openings. The presence of Emanuele Cisi adds a further dimension, expanding the timbral and narrative perspective of the project.

A pianist and composer active on both the Italian and international jazz scene, Sergio Di Gennaro has collaborated with artists such as Gianni Basso, Enrico Rava, Dusko Goykovich, Sheila Jordan, Roberta Gambarini, Fabrizio Bosso, Scott Hamilton, Jim Rotondi, Barry Finnerty, Wayne Escoffery, Joyce Yuille, and many others. Since 2024, he has been the artistic director of OGR Jazz Night, curated in collaboration with Indiependence. Joining him are Ares Tavolazzi on double bass, a leading figure in European jazz, and Enzo Zirilli on drums, one of the most in-demand musicians on the international scene. Special guest Emanuele Cisi, among the most prominent and internationally recognized Italian saxophonists.
