Thursday, July 29 from 7 to 9 pm, OGR Summer Vibes will see at the sound desk GOLD MASS, an all-women independent project, for an electronic DJ set with dark, intimate, and minimal sounds.

GOLD MASS
Italian artist, she is a physics graduate and writes and produces electronic music. Hers is a solo and independent project, for which she personally oversees every aspect, from publishing to visuals and communication. She debuted in 2019 with the independent album Transitions, produced by Paul Savage, former drummer of Delgados and producer for artists such as Mogwai and Franz Ferdinand. Electronics and vocal skills are synthesized into a self-analytical, meta-narrative spoken word that moves from dark moods to trip-hop ballads amidst soulful inflections. For GOLD MASS, writing music is introspective research, a form of exorcism in which she can share and release her personal shadows. And if writing music is a powerful therapy, listening to it can only do us good.
