OGR Summer Vibes brings magic, astromancy, and tarots in the outdoor area of OGR Torino.

On Tuesday, July 27 from 7 to 9 pm, the evening will feature Popa, an art project born on the Italian beaches during the summer of 2019, which combines the golden age of Italian music with the esoteric nuances of magic and the cosmos. While the music plays, Ilaria Nassa will read tarot cards seeking to unravel the skein of our doubts.

POPA
With Lithuanian artist Maria Popadnicenko at the microphone, Popa is a form of active cultural resistance fueled by the synergy between young artists, inspired by the Italian lifestyle, aka La Dolce vita. A modern and carefree tale that reminds us that the actions we take can define our destiny. The first release, Mare di Milano, is a hymn to the joy of living, a song about hope and the desire to enjoy moments of tender lightness and love. Psicomagia, the second track of a concept album that will be released in 2022, is an exhortation not to give up in times of difficulty which creates a common thread between old-school pop, 70s disco music, post-pandemic existential crises, shrimp cocktails and family constellations. The basic concept is to show, in an ironic and light way, that with magic you can solve love problems and drive away bad energies and love rivals.

ILARIA NASSA
Born in Prato, Tuscany, she grew up among cypress and fig trees and from her grandmother she learned to tell stories, to cook, to believe in the symbols hidden in her dreams and to remove the evil eye. When she moved to Rome, she learned the art of Tarot. The Major and Minor Arcana are not final judgments on our lives, but symbols that help us to better understand ourselves. Together with Popa, she will guide us in the reading of what possible futures may lay ahead of us.
