The new Patch Wednesday event is curated by Ermes Cyber Security, a technological excellence founded in Turin and grown within the innovation ecosystem, specialising in advanced browser protection.
Together with them, on 25 February at 6.30 PM at the Mezzanino of OGR Torino, we will address an increasingly critical topic: the evolution of phishing in the age of artificial intelligence and the central role of the browser as the new attack front.
Phishing is no longer what it used to be. Thanks to AI, malicious campaigns have become extremely sophisticated, capable of bypassing traditional defences and striking the most vulnerable link in the security chain: the user, through the browser. Advanced social engineering, dynamic counterfeit websites and targeted attacks make many legacy tools ineffective.
During the meeting, the Ermes Cyber Security team, together with a testimonial from Maire Tecnimont, will guide the audience through the evolution of modern threats and illustrate how real-time protection based on AI, Neural Engine and Computer Vision now represents the only truly effective response. A particular focus will be dedicated to the shift in protection design, towards a new era of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and secure browsing, supported by the analysis of real case studies.
