Animating Horror: creative solutions (and a few fixes) in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead
Wednesday, April 9, 2025 | 6.30 PM
Speakers' Corner | OGR Tech
On Wednesday, April 9, Tech & Tonic for game dev returns to OGR Tech with a brand-new event. This time, two Technical Animators from Stormind Games, Pietro Papalia and Alessio Bellemo, will take us behind the scenes of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, a first-person horror game inspired by the iconic Hollywood film. They will share the challenges they faced, the tricks they used, and the solutions they found to bring the game to life, all under tight deadlines. From discarded ideas to ingenious solutions and a few "creative fixes," this talk will provide insight into the challenges and small victories of an ambitious project made with limited resources.
