How can you tell if an idea really works? And what does it mean to “validate” a project before it even becomes a startup?
The next Startup for Beginners event, the series created by OGR Torino and Talent Garden to bring younger generations closer to entrepreneurship, will focus on the most delicate and often overlooked stage of building a business: idea validation.
The event will be held in collaboration with Mamazen, and the evening’s guest will be Farhad Alessandro Mohammadi, CEO of Mamazen, Italy’s first Startup Studio. With his talk, “Validate or Die: where ideas are put to the test, according to Mamazen”, he will guide the audience through the processes, tools, and mindset needed to test a business idea in the real world before investing time and resources.
This will be followed by a firsthand story from Pelomatto, with CEO and co-founder William Selmo, who will share how his startup tackled the challenges of validation, turning an intuition into a concrete project thanks to Mamazen’s support.
The event is aimed at students, aspiring founders, young professionals, and anyone who wants to understand how to assess the strength of an entrepreneurial project from the very first steps.
The evening will conclude with a Q&A session and a networking aperitivo, an informal opportunity to connect with the speakers, startups, and Turin’s innovation community.
