On 15 January at 6.30 PM, Stefano Mancuso will take the stage at Binario 3 to present his new book, The Canticle of the Earth, published by Editori Laterza.
Starting from the verses of the Canticle of the Creatures, Mancuso guides the audience in discovering how Brother Sun, Brother Wind, Sister Water and Mother Earth make life on Earth possible and safeguard its destiny. A narrative that weaves together science, ethics and poetry, inviting us to recognise ourselves as part of a larger family: that of life.
A powerful message of responsibility and hope emerges from the dialogue. Only through love, care and a restrained use of resources, as indicated by Saint Francis, will our species be able to continue to live and thrive on the planet, with concrete chances of success.
