From May 22 to 24, 2026, OGR Torino will host the 7th edition of The Phair | Photo Art Fair, the must attend event for photography and contemporary art enthusiasts. Featuring a curated selection of galleries from Italy and across Europe, The Phair offers an immersive experience among established masters and emerging talents, taking visitors on a unique visual journey.
The 2026 edition is further enriched by the new Talks Program - The Phair, a series of exclusive talks dedicated to collecting and the world of photography. An extraordinary opportunity to discover how to navigate the photography market while engaging directly with internationally renowned artists, curators, and collectors.
The fair’s distinctive exhibition design features uniform display spaces: a choice that enhances the artworks while creating a seamless and continuous visitor experience, conceived as a single narrative.
At a time when images are both testimony and construction, photography reaffirms itself as a privileged language through which to question the present. Between document and interpretation, permanence and transformation, each work opens up a space for reflection, a threshold through which to observe the complexity of reality.
The 2026 edition of The Phair brings together 42 Italian and international galleries, confirming its growing European outlook: A.More Gallery (Milan), Albumen Gallery (London), Galleria Valeria Bella (Milan), Galleria Umberto Benappi (Turin), Biasutti & Biasutti (Turin), C+N Gallery CANEPANERI (Milan), Colombo’s Gallery (Milan), Alberto Damian Gallery (Treviso), Deodato Arte (Milan), Exposed. Torino Photo Festival (Turin), Fabbrica Eos (Milan), Febo e Dafne (Turin), Galleria Forni (Bologna), Gagliardi e Domke (Turin), Hopfulmonster Editore (Turin), Jaeger Art (Berlin), The Lanterns Art (Milan), Galleria Leòn (Bologna), Galerie Ira Leonis (Arles), Lusvardi Art (Milan), Magreen Gallery (Genoa), Marcorossi Artecontemporanea (Milan, Pietrasanta, Rome, Turin, Verona), MC2 Gallery (Milan, Tivat), Franco Noero (Turin), Alessia Paladini Gallery (Milan), Giorgio Persano (Turin), Photo & Contemporary, (Turin), Podbielski Contemporary (Milan), Raw Messina (Rome), Red Lab Gallery (Milan), Roccavintage (Turin), Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea (Milan), Tucci Russo Studio per l’Arte Contemporanea (Torre Pellice), Seletti (Cicognara), Paola Sosio Contemporary Art (Milan), Fondazione Specchio dei Tempi (Turin), Gian Enzo Sperone (Sent), Tallulah Studio Art (Milan), Unique Contemporary (Turin), VisionQuest 4rosso (Genoa), Willas Contemporary (Stockholm), Zamagni Arte (Rimini).
This reflection is also mirrored in the preview images unveiled ahead of the fair, offering a glimpse into some of the visual research featured in the exhibition. On one hand, there is the exploration of nature and its symbolic, transformative dimension in Clematis Tangutica by Swedish artist Helene Schmitz, presented by WILLAS contemporary, which focuses on the fascinating structural details of plants; on the other, the intimate and narrative perspective on memory and urban space in Sigos mes pasos by Cuban photographer Keila Guilarte, presented by Tallulah Studio Art, where the extreme wear of a ballet shoe becomes testimony to absolute dedication and embodies the commitment required to forge one’s own path.
Within this dialogue between different artistic practices also lies the work of Nick Brandt: his pieces, once again presented by WILLAS contemporary, originate from the four chapters of the series The Day May Break and powerfully address the impact of environmental destruction and climate change on both vulnerable communities and the animal and natural world. Created across Kenya, Zimbabwe, Bolivia, Fiji, and Jordan, these works are currently also on view at Gallerie d'Italia | Turin within the context of EXPOSED. Torino Foto Festival.
The dialogue between humanity and the environment also emerges in the work of Rune Guneriussen (Marcorossi Artecontemporanea), while Paul Cupido (MC2 Gallery) introduces a contemplative dimension inspired by the Japanese concept of Mu. The fair also embraces iconic references from visual culture: Giovanni Gastel (Photo & Contemporary), poised between elegance and irony; Andy Warhol and Bob Dylan (Colombo’s Gallery), brought into dialogue through the perspectives of Oliviero Toscani and Paolo Brillo.
