On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, OGR Torino hosts BENBEN, a performance conceived and performed by percussionist Marco Luparia as part of the To Listen To Festival.

Inspired by the ancient sacred obelisk of the solar temple of Heliopolis, BENBEN explores the relationship between collective memory, objects of worship, and religious practices through a psychoacoustic experience.

Inside the Duomo at OGR, Luparia interacts with a self-built amplification and projection system, creating a continuous dialogue between acoustic and electronic elements. Through audio-reactive triggers, the performance navigates a visual archive of rituals and familiar moments: masses, funerals, holidays, hunts. All of it works to reconstruct the memory of a Piedmontese village suspended between nostalgia and fiction.
