On Oct. 10, 9 pm, Zerocalcare arrives for the first time at Sala Fucine to present his new comic book No Sleep till Shengal, a reportage of his journey to Iraq in 2021 in search of the Ezid community of Shengal, threatened by international tensions and protected by Kurdish militias, and whose living conditions and struggle have been thoroughly documented in the book.

With his unmistakable style and voice capable like few others of filtering the many nuances of modern society, Zerocalcare takes a journey that will prove both painful and necessary to better understand the world around us. This free event, by reservation only, is part of the OGR Talks schedule and is presented by OGR Torino and BAO Publishing, in synergy with Fondazione Circolo dei Lettori.

A voice as capable as few to filter the many nuances of our modern society and a journey, which will prove painful but necessary to better understand the world around us.
