24,000 visitors for the Hermès in the Making event at OGR Torino

OGR Torino and Hermès in the Making: 10 days and over 24,000 visitors for the event dedicated to fine craftsmanship, savoir-faire and the innovative and creative spirit of the maison 

More than 24,000 visitors came to OGR Torino for the Hermès in the Making event, which for ten days showcased the maison’s artisans and their savoir-faire inside the Sala Fucine at OGR, presenting the brand’s sustainable business model through the story of its métiers.

“The success of the Hermès in the Making event, which drew a great response from the national and international audience, adds an important page to the history of OGR Torino. For ten days art, technology and craftsmanship met in a combination of beauty and innovation, confirming the nature of OGR as a center of production, repair and transmission of timeless values, where savoir-faire hinges on ideas, ingenuity and excellence. One of the main missions we pursue at OGR Torino is to contribute to making Turin more attractive, thanks to projects that engage with diverse and growing audiences, always with an inclusive and open spirit and in synergy with excellent partners. Hermès in the Making set up an interactive itinerary that brought together a large, curious and attentive crowd, who was able to meet and talk to the eleven artisans present thanks to specialized interpreters, finding answers to any curiosities and questions about the work that is at the heart of so many timeless creations.

After their only stop in Italy, here in Turin, Hermès in the Making and the maison’s artisans are ready to leave for the event’s upcoming international dates: Troy, June 2022; Singapore, September 2022; Austin, October 2022.
