Fondazione CRT and OGR Torino launch the third edition of Impact Deal, the European data-driven accelerator program for social and environmental impact enterprises. This year, the program will take place in a hybrid mode, a mix of online sessions and in-presence days at OGR Torino, within the OGR Tech hub for innovation and applied research.

Impact Deal is conceived and developed under the scientific supervision of ISI Foundation, with the operational management of TOP-IX and the support of strategic partners such as Ashoka, Impact Hub and Impact Europe. Positioning itself at the intersection of data, artificial intelligence, impact and entrepreneurship, the program offers access to exclusive datasets, an extensive network of mentors and data experts, networking opportunities with investors and data sharing players, and a growing alumni community.

A key element of the program is the Data Club, a group of corporations and public and private organizations ready to grant access to their data. It includes Città di Torino, Banca Sella, Windtre, and Almawave, Advaneo GmbH, Cuebiq and Open Data Hub (platform provided by NOI TechPark) joining for the 2024 edition. In addition, the support of the Digital Innovation Hub Piemonte and the Mesap Innovation Hub will bring new opportunities for local businesses to get involved.

The third edition doubles the number of selected impact enterprises, bringing the number of participants in the program to 30. During the six-month acceleration, divided into two phases (First phase: needs analysis and matching with Data Club members + Second Phase: finalization of funding opportunities and strategic collaborations based on access to public and private datasets) companies will be able to improve their skills in the use of data, receive specific mentorship and access a network of investors and collaborations with high-profile organizations.

The first two editions of Impact Deal have already enabled participating companies to raise more than 30 million euros, with projects focused on sustainable mobility, fighting misinformation and air pollution, promoting eco-friendly packaging and smart waste management. In addition, activated partnerships have provided access to exclusive data on mobility flows and financial transactions.

The call for impact enterprises is open until December 2.
