aulArte 2026: starting this year, OGR Torino is also collaborating with Fondazione Arte CRT’s programme

Starting this year, OGR Torino is also collaborating with aulArte, the educational project supported by Fondazione Arte CRT to encourage students to access contemporary culture venues and strengthen the relationship between art and schools.

The project involves schools of all levels across Piedmont and, for the first time, also in the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley, through dedicated funding for educational visits to museums and contemporary art foundations in the local area. Alongside OGR Torino, the participating institutions include Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto, GAM - Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, PAV - Parco Arte Vivente and Pinacoteca Agnelli.

aulArte has a twofold aim: on the one hand, to raise teachers’ awareness of the importance of integrating contemporary art into school curricula and, on the other, to promote inclusive practices by celebrating cultural diversity and encouraging learning through direct experiences in art venues.

For the 2026-2027 school year, 35 schools have been selected to receive funding for visits to contemporary art venues. This is complemented by a free teacher training programme, which has involved around 800 teachers in previous editions. Starting in autumn 2026, thanks to collaboration with the Education Departments of the partner institutions, teachers from Piedmont and Aosta Valley will be able to take part free of charge, subject to booking, in sessions focusing on artists and contemporary art practices.
