OGR Torino will once again host the C2C Festival for the 2025 edition, which will open and close inside Sala Fucine, on October 30 for the Grand Opening presented by Alfa Romeo and November 2 for the finissage. Now in its twenty-third year, the festival brings international artists and sonic experimentation to Turin, reshaping the language of contemporary music.
This year’s edition will feature two evenings at OGR Torino.
On Thursday, October 30, the Sala Fucine stage will showcase, in his only Italian appearance, Daniel Blumberg, the British composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer, and recent Academy Award winner for the score of The Brutalist, alongside Jenny Hval, Kelman Duran, and New York band YHWH Nailgun, making their Italian debut.
The closing night on Sunday, November 2 presents three Italian exclusives: rapper Billy Woods, with a new critically acclaimed concept album, Maria Somerville with her signature dream-pop, and the Norwegian experimental pop duo Smerz.
Entitled Per aspera, ad astra (Through hardship to the stars), in tribute to founder and artistic director Sergio Ricciardone, who passed away last March, the festival reaffirms its mission to explore the boundaries of musical avant-garde, ranging from electronic and hip hop to rock, jazz and contemporary R&B.
