OGR Torino at Salone del Libro to talk about participation and accessibility


From Thursday 15 to Monday 19 May the Turin International Book Fair Salone del Libro returns to Lingotto for its 37th edition, The Words Between Us Read. Among the many events on the programme, on Monday 19 May at 2.15 pm, OGR Torino will take part in the panel Participation and Accessibility. Building contexts for all in the cultural sphere, held in the City of Turin and the Metropolitan City space (Hall 1, stand D102).

Promoted by Fondazione CRT and Fondazione Paideia, with the support of the City of Turin’s Department of Culture and Carocci Editore, the event marks the launch of the book of the same name, edited by Fabrizio Serra, Franco Tartaglia and Silvio Venuti. The publication brings together the voices of 29 contributors – including activists, cultural professionals, academics and practitioners – united by the goal of creating genuinely inclusive cultural environments.

Joining Ilaria Beretta, Alessia Fassone, Patrizia Polliotto, Giorgia Rochas, Laura Suzzani, Fabrizio Serra, Franco Tartaglia, Paola Traversi, and Silvio Venuti, Roberta Zendrini, education activities coordinator OGR Torino, will present practices and projects developed to make culture accessible to everyone. The panel will be moderated by Gabriella Damilano.

This event offers an opportunity for discussion and insight into the role of culture as an open and inclusive space,exploring strategies and methodologies to make accessibility the key to sharing artistic and cultural heritage.
