NID Platform 2026: OGR Torino among the venues for new Italian dance

OGR Torino, the hub of Fondazione CRT, will be among the key venues for the tenth edition of “NID Platform – La nuova piattaforma della danza italiana”, the leading event dedicated to promoting the most recent Italian dance productions, taking place from 1 to 4 September 2026.

For the first time, the event comes to Piedmont, bringing to Collegno, Moncalieri, Turin and Venaria Reale a wide-ranging programme of performances, open studios, meetings, panels and professional networking opportunities. Entitled “Coreografie del possibile” (“Choreographies of the Possible”), this edition echoes a belief central to OGR: culture as an infrastructure through which to imagine and build the future.

OGR Torino’s participation in NID Platform 2026 forms part of its daily commitment to building an ecosystem in which the arts, innovation and knowledge can meet and cross-fertilise, connecting people, talent and expertise while supporting the production and circulation of ideas, practices and projects.

At OGR, the programme during NID Platform 2026 will feature “Manifestus” by choreographer, performer and filmmaker Jacopo Jenna, and “Le Palestriti” by Nexus, the company founded and directed by Simona Bertozzi. It will also include “Danza Cronaca” – mediated version, conceived by Jacopo Jenna and Ariadne Mikou as part of the Anarkhiving project, developed in collaboration with COORPI and CRO.ME – Cronaca e Memoria dello Spettacolo, as well as the international panel “Human Regeneration”, which will broaden the perspective to the transformative processes that dance can generate in places, communities and forms of dwelling.

NID Platform 2026 is a project born from a shared vision among the dance distribution organisations belonging to A.D.E.P. (Associazione Danza Esercizio e Promozione), within FEDERVIVO-A.G.I.S., coordinated by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo. It is supported by the Ministero della Cultura – Direzione Generale Spettacolo and Regione Piemonte, with the contribution of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, and in partnership with Consorzio Residenze Reali Sabaude, Fondazione Contrada Torino, Fondazione TPE - Teatro Piemonte Europa, @Fondazione TRG, OGR Torino, Teatro Stabile di Torino – Teatro Nazionale and Torinodanza Festival.
