NID Platform 2026: OGR Torino among the venues of Italy’s new dance scene
From September 1 to 4, 2026, Piedmont will host the tenth edition of
NID Platform, the New Italian Dance Platform, the leading event dedicated to promoting the latest national choreographic productions on the international stage.
For the first time, the event will take place across the Piedmont region, involving Collegno, Moncalieri, Turin and Venaria Reale, with a widespread programme of performances, open studios, talks and professional networking opportunities.
Among the key venues of the 2026 edition is
OGR Torino, hosting the event within a cultural ecosystem shaped by regenerated spaces, artistic research and contemporary experimentation.
Promoted by ADEP/Federvivo-AGIS with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Directorate-General for Performing Arts, the Piedmont Region coordinated by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, and with the contribution of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, NID Platform has represented for more than ten years a
privileged observatory on contemporary Italian dance, fostering dialogue among artists, cultural professionals, institutions and international networks.
The theme chosen for this edition,
“Choreographies of the Possible”, reflects the desire to explore new relationships between body, space, languages and territories, opening dance up to interdisciplinary and international perspectives. The programme includes
18 artistic proposals spanning performances and works in development, alongside panels, professional activities and initiatives dedicated to accessibility and public participation.
