- Startup accelerators, focused on major technological trends such as Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Solutions. The first programme scheduled is dedicated to the Gaming sector, starting in early 2021 in collaboration with 34BigThings and ID@Xbox, a programme that will allow 10 visionary independent game developers to unleash their creativity and feature the newly-developed games on Microsoft's global platforms. These projects are part of the Microsoft for Startups international programme, for which the Tech giant from Redmond has allocated $500 million, with OGR Tech as a partner.
- Training activities for OGR Tech network startups but even for students, professionals and anyone else, with the purpose of promoting the diffusion of digital skills. In the next few months 7 different courses involving over 1,200 people, for about 20,000 hours of training with experts from the Microsoft network on topics such as Big Data Analytics, Social Entrepreneurship, Modern Workplace, Artificial Intelligence and Ethics, Cybersecurity, Collaboration and Coding Tools.
- A calendar of dedicated events to create interaction and networking opportunities for startups, developers and students, where they can meet mentors and experts and acquire new technical and managerial skills.
“
OGR and Microsoft join forces for a new, great challenge: the acceleration of the digital revolution, a fundamental asset to build the recovery and, in perspective, contribute to restarting the city, the region and the country in such a crucial historical moment. Exactly one year after their launch, thanks to Fondazione CRT, OGR Tech opens the doors to the Tech Revolution Factory, to spread and promote innovation, working together with Microsoft along three lines of action: help young founders with acceleration programmes that can launch them towards international success; support social entrepreneurship and its impact, by granting access to innovative technologies such as AI and Smart Data; develop the digital skills of companies, ordinary citizens and young students to shape present-day and tomorrow’s Italy”, says Massimo Lapucci, General Manager of OGR and General Secretary of Fondazione CRT. “
After Microsoft for Startups was announced last December, Microsoft's commitment in Piedmont, and in particular in Turin, is becoming increasingly substantial. Together with OGR Tech, we are working to extend access to new skills and new tools to young entrepreneurs and companies, thus accelerating digital innovation, which is more essential than ever before at this stage of our country's restart” commented
Silvia Candiani, CEO of Microsoft Italia.
