Quickload powered by OGR Torino
The fourth edition of the OGR Torino program dedicated to the gaming industry
Applications now open
Quickload powered by OGR Torino returns for its fourth edition, confirming its place as one of Europe’s leading
acceleration programs for the gaming sector. Created by
OGR Torino,
34BigThings, and
ID@Xbox, the program is aimed at startups and independent teams in the video game industry, offering an intensive four-month journey designed to turn ideas and prototypes into solid, market-ready projects.
Applications for the fourth edition open on June 9. Teams and startups from across Europe are welcome to apply, even if they haven’t formally established a company yet. Having a finished game is not required:
Quickload focuses on team potential, growth capability, and the originality of ideas. The only essential requirement is the physical presence of at least one team member in Turin for the entire duration of the program.
The program takes place at
OGR Tech, the innovation hub of OGR Torino, located in one of Northern Italy’s most dynamic and well-connected cities. Selected startups will have access to dedicated workspace and receive tailored mentorship from international gaming industry experts. Throughout the program, teams will develop a vertical slice of their game, sharpen their entrepreneurial skills, explore market dynamics, and improve their pitching abilities through weekly sessions—all in preparation to meet with publishers and investors.
Quickload is designed to help startups grow into strong, self-aware companies, providing them with the tools they need to navigate every phase of development, from idea validation to go-to-market strategy.
The program is free for selected startups and includes direct support from 34BigThings.
The results from previous editions speak for themselves:
90% of participating startups are still active, and
40% have already signed publishing deals or
launched their products on the market. Success stories include titles like
Garden In! by Dramatic Iceberg and
Checkmate Kings by Monka Studios. Other teams, such as Novis Games, have been selected for high-profile international initiatives like Microsoft’s
Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact program.
Quickload is also part of the European project
GAME-ER, in which OGR Torino is a partner, further strengthening the international scope of the program through a broad network of industry contacts and collaborations with major players in the European gaming ecosystem. Supporting the initiative is also the broader
OGR Torino ecosystem, made up of over 80 companies and international financial institutions, which has helped raise over €350 million in funding for startups participating in innovation programs hosted at OGR Tech.
Apply now and take your project to the next level with Quickload powered by OGR Torino.
