Vento Venture Builder. The second edition begins.

Vento Venture Building
Following the success of the 2022 edition, 40 aspiring entrepreneurs, with the support of Exor, will be engaged full time to create new tech companies. Presentation at Investor Day on June 21

The second edition of Vento Venture Building starts this week. After selecting 40 participants from more than 500 applications, the program, organized with the support of Exor, aims to support future entrepreneurs in the development path of new ventures.

During the five-month program, participants will have the opportunity to develop their business ideas through training sessions, mentoring, and networking with industry experts and investors, thanks to the grants provided by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo. The program will be full-time and in-person at OGR Torino to ensure an active and engaging learning environment where participants can share experiences and collaborate to create strong and competitive teams through living together within the OGR Tech innovation hub.

Midway through the program, after completing the problem exploration and ideation phases, teams will have the opportunity to be evaluated for a pre-seed investment of between €50,000 and €100,000, providing them with the necessary funding to continue their journey and develop their startup.

On June 21, the program will conclude with an Investor Day, where teams will have the opportunity to present their projects to a group of investors and potential partners, demonstrating that they have acquired the skills and knowledge needed to launch their entrepreneurial activity.

The first edition of the program in 2022 ended successfully, generating 9 startups, 6 of which have already raised substantial funding rounds from major investors. Vento has thus proven to be an effective program in providing the resources and skills needed to help participants turn their ideas into successful entrepreneurial businesses.

Vento is funded by Exor and in partnership with Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione CRT, OGR Torino, and Talent Garden, which together will offer valuable support and resources to help aspiring entrepreneurs realize their business ideas.
