OGR Talks is a journey. And that's what Gio Evan will talk about on the stage of Binario 3 at OGR Torino.

Viaggio, derived from the Latin term viaticus, meaning "related to the journey," is an event in collaboration with the Archivissima Festival. This endeavor provides a chance to recognize the importance of both the ultimate destination and each step taken along the way. It promotes personal growth and change while staying mindful of one's core values.

GIO EVAN
A multifaceted artist, writer and poet, philosopher, humorist, performer, songwriter, and street artist.
Between 2007 and 2015, he undertakes a remarkable bicycle expedition that spans various parts of the globe, including India, South America, and Europe. Throughout this journey, he actively engages with local mentors, teachers, and shamans, immersing himself in their cultures and ways of life. In Argentina, he receives a special spiritual initiation from a Hopi tribe and is given the name "Gio Evan".
In 2008, he writes his first book "Il florilegio passato", which narrates his remarkable journeys undertaken without money or shoes. Between 2012 and 2013 he establishes " Le scarpe del vento," a musical project where he assumes the roles of songwriter, singer, and guitarist. Independently, he releases his debut album titled " Cranioterapia."
During 2014, he initiates two projects on the streets of France, namely "Gigantografie" and "Le poesie più piccole del mondo". Between 2014 and 2016 he publishes several books "La bella maniera", his first novel published by Narcissuss; "Teorema di un salto, ragionatissime poesie metafisiche" (Narcissuss) and "Passa a sorprendermi" (Miraggi Edizioni). Next, he writes and directs the opera "OH ISSA - Salvo per un cielo".
In 2017, his book "Capita a volte che ti penso sempre" is released by Fabbri, followed by an extensive tour across Italy, while in March 2018, his new book "Ormai tra noi è tutto infinito" hits the shelves, also published by Fabbri. April 17 sees the release of "Biglietto di solo ritorno," the debut double album that becomes the catalyst for a tour throughout Italy.

ARCHIVISSIMA | the Festival and The Night of the Archives
Archivisisima was born in Turin in 2018 building upon the previous endeavors of "La Notte degli Archivi" (The Night of the Archives). Since 2016, this format had involved various city archives in a unique public opening, aiming to showcase the wealth of stories contained within the historical archives of organizations, institutions, and companies. Archivissima sought to achieve this by enlisting the voices of esteemed authors from Italian culture, allowing citizens to appreciate the richness and heritage present in these archives.
The festival is an annual event that occurs in early June, either following or preceding the International Archives Day. It is divided into different formats spanning an entire weekend which, de facto, transform Turin into the capital of archives.
Alongside the main events - which in 2023 will take place at the Gallerie d'Italia headquarters in Piazza San Carlo - a constellation of meetings and activities organized by the various participating entities will contribute to a rich and varied program, leading up to the highlight of each edition called "La Notte degli Archivi" (The Night of the Archives), a national format that in the past edition involved nearly 400 archives throughout Italy.
