LEONARDO DA VINCI – Anatomie spirituali

A tribute to the great inventor, scientist, writer, all-round humanist on the 500th anniversary of his death, Leonardo da Vinci - Anatomie Spirituali is a choreographic and choreological work, where the body is dissected between static and movement to become a story in itself, and other than itself.

A mysterious ritual from which sometimes surreal, playful, comical, poetic, and shocking truths emerge, inspired by the anatomical drawings of the genius, amid sounds of nature, echoes of Renaissance music, ideas and insights taken from Leonardo's texts, and interpreted by actor Mario Acampa.

The show is co-produced by OGR Torino and Fondazione Egri per la Danza/IPUNTIDANZA within the framework of Moving Bodies, Open Your Mind - A new spectacular season, with the support of Fondazione CRT.
