PUBLIC PROGRAM – JUNE 2021
In the month of June, the first part of the OGR Public Program will come to an end with events in live streaming and events attendance hosted in the magnificent spaces of the OGR!
The OGR Public Program events, for June are:
10 June h 6 pm - LIVE STREAMING - / OGR YOU - NOVA CONVENTION presents Nan Goldin
The third edition of the OGR YOU - NOVA CONVENTION, project curated by Guido Costa in collaboration with Sergey Kantsedal, involved 15 young adults (aged between 18-21) who had the opportunity, from March 2020 to today, to confront themselves with significant themes of life.
The objective of this "intensive experiment in education to the complexity of culture" is to stimulate a nirvana of knowledge through art in all its forms and to induce the highest possible disconnection in a group of young consciences.
Activism is the latest theme, chosen for its dynamic nature and as a sign of a responsible openness to the future. It will be presented by the American artist Nan Goldin, who for decades has been giving voice with her art and her extraordinary energy to subjets of gender, social and political matter.
*The event will be held in English with simultaneous translation service.
13 June h 11am & 3pm / Domeniche in Festa: Rosso come un papavero
Domeniche in festa, a project by the Education Department of the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, returns with the second Sunday activities entitled Rosso come un papavero... (Red Like a Poppy), on the occasion of the exhibition Cut a rug a round square curated by the American artist Jessica Stockholder.
